Woodfield, a special school that caters for pupils with learning and additional difficulties, first approached us after a recommendation by Wray Common Primary School to design a new website. As the project developed it became clear that the school also needed a new prospectus following the same creative strategy. The design concept followed the vision of the school, manifested by the creation of an improved logo using the rays of the sun to inspire and engage the pupils, staff and parents.

The school also contains a 16 Plus Centre that provides an adult learning environment for students of 16 – 19 years old. This required it’s own identity within the overall design concept. Designed for Schools provided a cost effective solution.

To design a name and distinctive logo for a 21-school confederation in South East Surrey, and the subsequent creation of a website to raise the profile of the confederation within the community it serves.

Under the guidance of Designed for Schools, the confederation name – Redhill, Reigate and Merstham Partnership – was chosen both to reflect the three main areas served by the group, and the collaborative nature of its work. The logo, with its three interlocking symbols, reflects this in a visual form which is both distinctive and instantly recognisable.

The partnership website, reflecting it’s distinctive identity, provides instant access to a range of information, support and opportunities offered to the children and families served by the confederation.

Send First School had a need to replace their existing school brochure due to a number of changes at the school, including a new Head Teacher. They needed to create a distinctive position in the local community and to establish the school as first choice for parents. The design needed to be easy to communicate, inspirational, with the use of bold photographs and it had to be cost effective. It included the creation of a friendly, new school logo and tag line.
